Words of Inspiration

Sometimes we all need a little “pick-me-up,” someone to encourage us, or an inspirational passage or phrase to repeat to ourselves.  I’ve found some encouraging words on Facebook of all places.  One of the fan pages I follow, Infinitely Sweet, posts daily “affirmations,” if you will, and I have come to look forward to them everyday.

The following quotes are copied directly from Infinitely Sweet’s page, so I can’t take credit for them nor do I know the original source of  the quotes.  Here are just a few recent ones that spoke to me:

“Never give up. There is no such thing as an ending. Just a new beginning. I think everyone at some point, goes through that one moment where they think “Oh God, I can’t do this”. But you know what? You can!~

Everything works out in the end. If it hasn't worked out, it's not the end... Never regret your past, only regret if you don't learn from it.~

Every morning you are faced with two choices: You can aimlessly stumble through the day not knowing what’s going to happen and worry about it. Or you can go through the day directing your own life and making your own decisions and destiny.~”

“Your journey has molded you for greater good. And it was exactly what it needed to be. Don't think that you've lost time. It took each and every situation that you encountered to bring you to the now. And now is right on time.~

Instead of wishing you were someone else, be proud of who you are. You never know who has been looking at you wishing they were you...~

You are exactly who & what & where you are supposed to be and you are lovely!~

Someday everything will make perfect sense. So for now, laugh at the confusion, smile through the tears and keep reminding yourself that everything happens for a reason~”

“The only people with whom you should try to get even are those who have helped you.~

Many of life’s failures are people who did not realize how close they were to success when they gave up.~

Strength isn't about never falling down or being broken; True Strength is having the Courage to rise after falling; And walking step by step, into Healing, Laughter, and Life again~

When life gives you a hundred reasons to cry, show life that you have a thousand reasons to smile!~”

Where do you look for your strength and inspiration?

Happy Friday!

  1. I have found a lot of comfort and strength from reading the Bible (just in the last few years I have had a desire to really study it and read it). Since God created us, I figure He knows exactly what we are going through and what we need. I always find something that relates to what I am feeling or comforts me. In good times and bad, I have hope because of Jesus' death and resurrection that one day there will be no pain, struggles, or crying...just one big fun party in heaven... the way He intended it!
